The city Department of Buildings has issued a full vacate order for three buildings on 36th Street in Borough Park after a massive fire tore through a matzah bakery and two neighboring businesses early Wednesday morning.

The most extensive damage was at the top of the buildings, where parts of the roof collapsed, officials said.

A porch in the back also gave way during the blaze, trapping a firefighter inside.

The firefighter and one other person were seriously injured, while two others sustained minor injuries.

The owner of an auto center two doors down from the bakery says that firefighters had to break parts of his roof to prevent the fire from spreading.

The FDNY blocked off the three buildings with tape, and the DOB has ordered the owners to put up construction fences to secure the area.

Two families, including a child, were displaced after the fire. The American Red Cross is providing financial assistance and temporary housing for them.

Fire marshals continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
