Brooklyn designers joined forces to create NBA superstar LeBron James’ 16th Nike sneaker, titled "The Strongest."
Fe Noel, Undra Celeste, and Kimberly Goldson met on the project and say they've formed a sisterhood after creating a shoe that embodies the strength of black women.
They say James was originally inspired by his own mother, who raised him as a single mother.
The three designers who created the exclusive sneaker model say the meaning behind the shoe evolved into something greater.
The sold-out shoes originally cost $250. They now go for over $1,000 per pair on some resale sites.
