Residents at 209 East 16th St. in Brooklyn say they have not received mail in months.
The post office originally stopped delivering to their building because the mailboxes were too small. Residents say the post office will not hold their mail at the local facility.
Many residents say they have low rent rates protected by the city, and do not believe this is a coincidence. They believe the landlord is deliberately being uncooperative with USPS, in an effort to kick long-time residents out and jack up rent.
News 12 reached out to the building owner, but has yet to hear back.
