The beginning of spring means the kickoff of carnival season in the Bronx.
A spring carnival began Friday on Morrison Avenue.
The event featured food, games and rides and costs just $4 to get inside. Attendees need to buy tickets to get on the rides once they're inside.
The carnival closes next Sunday and is open 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekends.
