A Canarsie church was robbed at gunpoint in the middle of a Sunday morning sermon.
The robbery was caught on the church's livestream.
Police say it happened at 11 a.m. at the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries.
As he was in the middle of his sermon, Bishop LaMore Miler told News 12 that four men dressed in black from head to toe kicked the down the church's door down.
He said the man ran directly toward him, forced him on the ground and proceeded to rob him and his wife at gun point.
In the livestream video, Miler is seen putting his hands in the air and immediately dropping to his knees as one of the suspects approaches him.
Miler even said the suspects even held a gun to the head of his 8-month-old baby.
In the video, one of the suspects is seen putting his left hand on Miler while holding a gun in his right hand. This is when Miler said the suspects robbed him and his wife of the jewelry they were wearing. He said the jewelry was of high value.
The four men then sprinted out of the church.
Despite the ordeal, Miler said he's thankful to have made it out safely.
"I'm alive. Thank God I'm alive. My wife is alive. My children are alive. All of my church is alive. Everybody doesn't have that story. So you know you have got to take the bitter with the sweet. You know, I don't care about no jewelry. They call me the 'bling bling bishop.' No, I'm a bishop for the Lord. I'm a bishop for the Lord and that's it," Miler said.
As of Sunday night, police said they don’t have any suspects yet.
