Chilly and windy conditions for Halloween in NYC, showers arriving tomorrow morning

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Kristy Campana says it will be a chilly evening so have those coats on top of costumes for trick-or-treating. Showers are expected to arrive early Wednesday morning.

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds. Chilly. Temps in the mid-40s for trick-or-treating, falling to 42 by dawn. Showers arrive between midnight and 3 a.m.

TOMORROW: A few showers likely during the morning as a weak coastal storm moves offshore. Dry by noon, then partly cloudy. Highs only around 49. Lows drop to 37.

THURSDAY: COLD start with feels-like temps near freezing. Patchy frost possible, especially for northern parts of the Bronx. Sunny. Highs near 50. Lows around 41.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and milder. Highs up to 57. Lows near 45.

THIS WEEKEND: So far, so good! Mostly sunny Saturday, more clouds Sunday. Can't rule out an isolated shower Sunday, but the trend has been drier. Highs in the low 60s. Lows in the upper 40s.
