Pelham Bay Park residents are bracing for another tropical storm as Isaias is expected to make its way to the tri-state area Tuesday.

Patty Marsibilio lived through Hurricane Irene and Superstorm Sandy without having to deal with major damage.

"I deal with it as it comes," Marsibilio says. "I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm not going to live my life that way because it's crazy even though I live by the water."

While some residents are not panicking, the city's Department of Emergency Management is advising people to know what evacuation zone their neighborhood is in. The Bronx is located in Zone 4 and Brooklyn is in Zone 3, which means that those areas could face flooding.

Barbara Iannucci has also lived by the water for years and says she makes sure to keep track of the weather.

"For the most part it's pretty calm, but when it starts to rain it's like a raging Atlantic or Pacific waves spraying," Iannucci says. "So it's pretty cool to watch as long as you're not getting hurt or damaged."

Mayor Bill de Blasio says the city is being cautious and installing flood protection equipment across the city while also adding barriers and tiger dams.

He says that service crews will be located in different areas through the five boroughs to monitor the situation.
