Temperatures in the 40s and 50s are on their way to our borough after a cold stretch of temperatures in the 20s and 30s.
Tuesday will bring temperatures that cruise into the higher 30s and lower 40s.
Is it a brief stint then back to cold? No! We are going to stay comfortable through the rest of the work and school week with 50-degree days returning for the end of the week and into the weekend.
Low temperatures will be more manageable and less brutal as well.
Light rain chances return for tomorrow night but aren't expected to be major. This light rain could linger into early parts of Wednesday.
Breeziness will return Wednesday with some gusts between 20-30 mph. The good news is that temperatures will be warmer so when the wind does make it cooler, it won't make it painfully cold the way it has been over the past couple weeks.
However, temperatures in the 40s that feel like the 30s will still feel cold. Make sure you're layered up before heading out.
After Tuesday night, the next rain we're tracking comes Friday afternoon and continues into the weekend. Until then, mostly smooth sailing is expected.
A bit warmer, mostly dry, and some sunny spots throughout for the first full week of 2026.

THURSDAY: Highs in the high 40s, lows in the low 40s. Sun and clouds.
