A community development organization held its 16th annual school fair Tuesday to connect kids to top high schools throughout the city.
The Woman's Housing and Economic Corporation hosted the fair at PS/MS 218.
Representatives from 36 top public and private high schools set up booths at the event.
Shelia Hicks-Rotellla, a representative for Riverdale High School, says that despite the school being tuition-based they offer financial aid to students.
Student Giselle Ramirez says this fair means a lot to her because WHEDCO helped her connect to a high school that led her to college.
She is now working for WHEDCO by helping students prepare for tests.
