A controversial parody about the "Joker" steps in Highbridge is causing quite a buzz.
The group's recent parody about the Highbridge stairs shows the comedians posing as tourists and taking selfies on the public staircase, only to be booted off by angry Bronx residents.
"Sometimes you have to show people exactly how they look complaining about the steps," said the group.
They say they created the video to show both the positive and negative aspects of the recent social media frenzy. This all started after the steps were featured prominently in the new "Joker" movie.
They say, as residents, they understand the community's frustration. They hope at the very least that the video gets people talking.
"At the end of the day, this is good for us, for the culture. This is going to bring a lot more movies being filmed in the Bronx, which brings more money into the community overall," said the group.
