Suffolk County police are investigating a shooting that injured a Deer Park woman last night. Cops say Cedrea Gordon arrived at her apartment on Washington Avenue and two men were inside at 11:30 p.m. Gordon, 21, went back to her car where her boyfriend, Devon Lewis, was waiting. According to police, Lewis got out of the car and was confronted by the two men. One of the suspects started shooting and one bullet struck Gordon in the chest while she was seated in the vehicle. Investigators say Lewis, 26, drove Gordon to the Deer Park Fire House and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital were she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. One suspect is described as black, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall to 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build and was wearing dark clothing. The other suspect is described as black and heavy set.
