Council Member Marjorie Velazquez invited Bronx residents to spend their holiday weekend at a local park for Family Day.
Velazquez’s office held an event at Ferry Point Park Sunday that featured life-sized board games, sports, arts and crafts and other entertainment.
Officials also helped out Bronx residents looking to apply for a federal lifeline assistance program through Assurance Wireless.
