CUNY has pushed back college decision day to June to provide families with more time to apply for financial aid.
CUNY officials say that the university system has launched the Financial Aid Support Team, CUNY Fast, to make sure students across the city are receiving support.
Additionally, CUNY is hosting an event at Lehman College on June 15 to answer questions from parents and prospective and current students.
According to FAFSA, the changes were made in hopes of stream-lining the process in the long run. Through glitches in the system, however, both students and campuses have experienced delays in processing and decision making.
