Moe Stein, the late owner of Frank’s Sport Shop, is described as a Bronx legend by locals, and his passing has left behind decades of memories.
The sports shop has been open for over 100 years now. Frank, the store namesake, was the father of Moe Stein.
Many of the memories and stories of the local landmark are still being told today inside the store.
Luis Amaya is one of a few employees who has worked at the sporting goods store for many years – and he attributes his long tenure there to Moe’s kindness.
A post from Frank’s Sport Shop’s Instagram page garnered hundreds upon hundreds of comments, many of which thanked Moe personally for his help in the store.
