Demonstrators gather in Trenton to protest Reproductive Freedom Act

A pro-life rally was held in Trenton Wednesday afternoon.
The demonstrators gathered to protest the Reproductive Freedom Act, which aims to protect and expand health care access in New Jersey, including the right to an abortion.
The group chanted “kill the bill” and held signs backing that stance.
"[The bill] is actually the opposite of giving people freedom. There are so many components of the bill that are so outrageous and so egregious. People are standing up and saying, 'We will not tolerate this bill,’” says Marie Tasy, with New Jersey Right to Life. “This bill needs to be withdrawn. It completely allows abortion for the entire nine months of pregnancy for any reason."
The Reproductive Freedom Act has not yet been passed into law, it has only been introduced.
