Four families still recovering from a fire that scorched their Bedford Park apartment building met with Community Board 7 Wednesday in a bid to gather support from community organizations.
Officials say an Aug. 11 electrical fire injured 10 people and badly damaged their homes on East 202nd Street.
The tenants say long-term neglect led to numerous building violations that may have sparked the fire.
The building's new owner previously told News 12 that any claims of foul play were incorrect.
