Fans of DMX were in his hometown of Yonkers to honor the rapper who died Friday.
Cars driving by were blasting songs by the rapper hours after news of his death was released.
Fans of DMX say they want to ensure his legacy lives on as they remember the legacy he left on Yonkers.
“I grew up with his music so it’s like I’ve literally been playing his music every day since I found out,” one fan says.
Following his heart attack, DMX had been staying at White Plains Hospital until his death Friday.
