The Department of Education is looking for parents to join in its community education councils.
The DOE is encouraging parents to join the Community Education Council or CEC. The CEC is an organization established for parents to voice their concerns about what's going on in their schools.
The message of the CEC is to "raise your hand and raise your voice."
Jesse Mojica, of Family and Community Engagement, says that she knows families want to do what's best for their children, and joining the council could help their children and others.
If you are interested in joining the CEC program, you have until tomorrow to apply online.
