The Bronx Dominican Day Parade celebrated its 27th anniversary Sunday on the Grand Concourse. 
Dominican flags swayed proudly throughout the entire Grand Concourse as family and friends gathered to sing, dance and celebrate the Dominican Republic. 
Organizers say that the heart and soul of Dominican culture in the Bronx is not going away anytime soon. 
Traffic was heavy in the area as the parade went on until around 5:00 p.m.
