The Department of Sanitation has deployed over 1,600 plow vehicles ahead of Friday's snow in New York City.
DSNY is reminding everyone that it is preparing for a “decent” storm. It says the morning commute may be a bit sloppy because of the timing of the storm.
Despite COVID outages, DSNY said its staff is adequate for the storm.
It said 22% of its workers are out and that people are working 12-hour shifts.
