Earthquake aftermath: Dozens of aftershocks strike New Jersey since Friday, USGS says

Officials say there have been around 47 aftershocks in total around the state since Friday.

New Jersey has continued to experience earthquake aftershocks five days after a 4.8 magnitude earthquake rocked the area.
The latest one occurred Wednesday morning. The USGS reports a 2.6 magnitude aftershock struck around 10 a.m. just southwest of Gladstone.
Three other aftershocks happened on Tuesday, according to the USGS.
Officials say there have been around 47 aftershocks in total around the state since Friday.
