The El Toro roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson will remain closed as the Department of Consumer Affairs probes the malfunction that led to passenger injuries.
According to officials, 14 passengers were injured last week, with five of them taken to a hospital with neck and back pain.
Some riders say they heard a loud bang, and one said it felt like they hit a pothole.
A spokesperson for Six Flags said the ride will be re-inspected by company and state workers once maintenance is complete.
