Exclusive video: Man and EMS worker get into fight in Concourse Village
Both the worker and man were hospitalized after the altercation.

Exclusive video obtained by News 12 shows an EMS worker and a man getting into a physical fight Thursday morning at the corner of Morris Avenue and McClellan Street in Concourse Village.
Workers at the bodega there say the man was lying on the ground across the street when they came to open up earlier, and at some point, somebody called an ambulance for him.
"I don't know what happened, but something happened, because he come in go crazy," said one man who lives in the area, and saw it unfold.
Police say at one point, police say the man threw a rock at the window of the ambulance.
For more than five minutes, the man and an EMS worker, who police say is a 37-year-old man, are seen squaring each other up and talking. At one point, the man appears to spit at the worker, before eventually, they begin fighting and go to the ground.
The man is seen kicking and punching the EMS worker before eventually being pulled off, with witnesses telling News 12 the worker had cuts and blood all over his arm.
Multiple people in the area also told News 12 off-camera that they know the man, saying that he often gets into fights.
"In the community, he got a lot of problems with people," said Julio Taveras, who works at the bodega. "The police running behind him sometimes."
But Taveras says personally, he has never had an issue with the man, sometimes offering him juice or a few dollars, because "a person like that, he needs help."
Police say that while the man is in custody, he is also in the hospital, and will be officially arrested and charged as soon as he is released from there.
