9h agoThe Connecticut team earned their way into the Little League World Series next week with a win in the Metro Regional Championship game.
Fairfield took on St. James-Smithtown, New York in Bristol Friday night and came away with a 12-1, mercy rule victory in four innings.
Every Fairfield player reached base during the game.
This is the first time Fairfield Little League has won the district and is representing Connecticut.
