The Parks Department is on the scene where a tree fell outside an apartment building on College Avenue in West Concourse.
Neighbors outside 1371 College Ave. told News 12 that they were concerned because the area wasn’t accessible to older tenants and others who use wheelchairs.
The fallen tree delivered quite a shock to neighbors.
"Thank God no kids were here,” said Linda Whyte. “It could have fallen the other way.”
