Tenants in a Fordham apartment building are still waiting on repairs a week and a half after a sprinkler malfunction caused flooding.
Crews removed the wet carpeting and cut holes in walls throughout the perimeter of an affected apartment to prevent mold from growing the day after the sprinkler malfunction on March 6.
Tenants say that since then, they don't have answers as to when repairs will be completed.
Crews did, however, arrive at one tenant's door shortly after News 12 reached out to the building's manager.
They told tenants they now have permission to move forward with the repairs and will start those repairs Thursday.
