Over 100 members of the FDNY responded to a two-alarm fire at a Van Nest home, according to fire officials.
The fire department received the call to respond to a fire at 1611 Garfield St. just before 3 p.m. Twenty-five units and over 100 members of the FDNY were on the scene to put out the fire, which was placed under control just before 4 p.m.

One person was treated at the scene for an injury but declined transportation to a hospital.
Fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
