A man was hit by a school bus on Bruckner Boulevard and Wales Avenue just before 2.p.m on Tuesday, according to the FDNY.
Video from the scene shows multiple firefighters and EMS personnel tending to the man as he leaned against the side of the bus.
First responders could be seen putting the man in a neck brace and tying what appears to be a tourniquet around his leg before he was put into the ambulance.
The driver of the school bus told News 12 that the bus had the green light, and the man walked in front of the bus as it traveled down Bruckner Boulevard toward East 140th Street.
The driver says no children were on board, as the bus was headed to the school for dismissal.
