FDNY: Pelham Parkway fire injured 1 civilian, 1 firefighter

The fire broke out at 2197 Cruger Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. in a fourth-floor apartment.

A fire in Pelham Parkway left residents out in the cold as firefighters battled flames inside of an apartment building.  
Residents are now being let back into their homes after the FDNY put the flames out. The fire broke out at 2197 Cruger Ave. around 8:30 p.m. in a fourth-floor apartment, according to fire officials.  
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
