Female Bronx leaders gathered in Lou Gehrig's Plaza in front of the Bronx Supreme Court Monday to remember Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Judges and personnel from all courts joined the ceremony to honor the legacy Ginsburg left behind.
Female elected officials say Ginsburg paved the way for them in court and also for women all over the country, as she fought legacy equality cases.
Bronx Judge Naita Sema says without Ginsburg paving the way for her, she wouldn't be here today.
Elected officials say they want Ginsburg's legacy to not only be remembered, but to be lived and inspire everyone to protect equality for all walks of life.
