Flames broke out at the Greenvale Townhouse Diner early Saturday morning in Nassau County, according to officials.

Authorities say excessive grease buildup ignited in the kitchen around 3 a.m.

It inflicted serious damage to the roof and kitchen.

The fire was extinguished by responders in under 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
