Firefighters say a fire broke out overnight at an apartment building in the Bronx.

Fire officials responded to the fire at around 9:45 p.m. on University Avenue near West 179th Street.

The flames started on the fourth floor of the five-story building. The tenants of that apartment were not home at the time.

A resident living on the first floor says his family was on their way home while first responders were at the scene.

No injuries were reported. It's unclear what started the fire at this time.
