First Apple store in the Bronx opens

The Bronx's first-ever Apple store officially opened Friday at the Bay Plaza mall. The new store opens the same day as Apple release the latest iteration of its iPhone devices, the iPhone 13.

Bronx was the last of the five boroughs for an Apple store to break ground. The store now gives Bronx residents access to all things Apple without leaving the borough.

Long lines were greeted by cheering Apple employees and shoppers were gifted with a T-shirt as they entered the store.
