Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl surprises Bronx ER nurse with performance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’
Jimmy Kimmel and Dave Grohl joined forces to bring a special surprise to one of the front-line workers battling COVID-19.
TJ Riley is a nurse at Jacobi Medical Center where he has treated countless COVID-19 patients.
Riley himself also recovered from the virus and stated 60% or his coworkers have also caught the virus.
On Monday, Riley was given the surprise of his life as he was serenaded by his favorite musician, Foo Fighters’ lead singer Dave Grohl while on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Grohl sang ‘Everlong’ for the shocked emergency room nurse who said the entire thing felt like a dream.
“I feel like I’m having a coronavirus dream,” said Riley.
In addition to the performance, Kimmel also gifted Riley with $10,000.
