Some Fordham residents are frustrated after they say their donations for businesses that were looted in June weren't being used properly.
Those who made donations to the nonprofit, The Bronx United, claim that the organizer of the fundraiser used their money to buy video games among other things.
Amin Razzaque and his team that created the nonprofit handed out checks to the businesses on Fordham Road Saturday following the allegations.
It's been over a month since the looting initially took place. They say creating the nonprofit took time and there were difficulties with getting the money from GoFundMe.
A Twitter storm that led to the controversy led to Razzaque to deliver the money to local businesses like Metro by T-Mobile on Fordham Road.
Razzaque says he isn't sure what the future holds for the Bronx United, but for now he is focusing on getting money to those that need it.
