A Gerritsen Beach family is desperately searching for their missing elderly relative who has dementia.

Caidi Ye, 66, was last seen Thursday wearing a jacket and pushing a blue shopping cart filled with a blanket.

With a snowstorm on the way, Ye’s son Qinan Chen is pleading for help from the community, canvassing and hanging flyers in the neighborhood.

The missing woman only speaks Wenzhounese, an uncommon dialect of Chinese.

Those who have information or may have seen the missing woman are encouraged to call police.
