A Greenpoint restaurant owner decided the best way to entice customers was to ask them what exactly they want to eat.
Jake Eberle of Le Fond restaurant, posts the week's menu on Instagram with suggestions from patrons.
He says that every Monday, he puts up a draft of the menu with one day blank. He says whoever's choice for the menu that day gets the most likes by Tuesday by noon gets their menu that day and a free meal.
The Norman Avenue eatery typically serves French cuisine, but during the pandemic, any dish is fair game.
Eberle says he enjoys the new way of cooking for customers, but is looking forward to the day he has a packed dining room again.
