A platform to protect and empower black woman meets weekly at the Applebee’s in Fordham.
Tuesday Night Expressions meets weekly and organizers say their results are keeping young women alive.
Every Tuesday, the group meets at the Applebee’s on Third Avenue.
Participants come from all over the city and are encouraged to speak. No matter their age the floor is theirs.
Organizers tell News 12 it is a platform of awareness for black women who have considered suicide.
They say Tuesday Night Expressions let's people speak their mind. Organizers say speakers can pour out their feelings in a creative way.
The group says more people are encouraged to join in, speak up and heal.
