WHAT'S NEW: Strong gusty winds Thursday night into Friday, gusts 40 to 50 mph. Wind advisory possible.
WHAT'S NEXT: Tracking showers and thunderstorms today. The worst of the weather is 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. with rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds. Be alert for changing weather conditions.
TODAY: STORM WATCH. Cloudy skies. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly after 4pm. Chance for spotty showers before 4 p.m. High near 54. Breezy, with a south-southwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Be alert during the evening rush hour for rain and gusty winds.
TONIGHT: STORM WATCH. Cloudy with rain and possibly a thunderstorm before 1 a.m., then a few scattered showers. Low around 44. Windy, with a south wind 25 to 45 mph decreasing to 10 to 20 mph after midnight. Heavy rain can cause street flooding, and the rain and strong winds can lead to scattered power outages. Beach erosion and coastal flooding possible.
Thursday: Cloudy skies giving way to a mix of sun and clouds. High near 55. West wind 5 to 15 mph.
Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 31. Northwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.
