One woman went from carrying her merchandise in a suitcase along the Grand Concourse to opening up a couple of storefronts.
"The American dream is true if you work hard to grab it and get it,” said Rosanna Medina.
She says her mission is to make people feel beautiful with girdles. She used to cart products to beauty stores in the Bronx.
"One day I saw the demand of the product and I see you know how it is growing. And one day I looked at my daughter's room was full of the undergarments and I say you know what this is time for me to go out and find a place this is a family business,” said Medina.
Her first location was in Washington Heights and that is when she says she started working with small business services.
