How to stay safe as a heat advisory goes into effect across NYC

New York City residents are getting a taste of summer today as a heat advisory goes into effect.
The National Weather Service says a heat advisory means temperatures will reach nearly 100 degrees. Temperatures this high can pose a risk for vulnerable people, including children and the elderly.
