JERSEY PROUD: High Tech HS teacher named Hudson County ‘Teacher of the Year’

For the second consecutive year, Hudson County’s “Teacher of the Year” title has gone to an educator from the Hudson County Schools of Technology.
Dr. Shelly Witham, an earth and environmental science teacher at High Tech High School, has earned the honor this year.
Witham has spent 24 years teaching at the school.
She will now compete for the title of New Jersey State Teacher of the Year.
