More Bronx families will have food for Thanksgiving thanks to the efforts from the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club.
Thanksgiving meals were handed out to Kips Bay families at the club Monday afternoon. The event was a collaborative effort with Jimmy Jazz to help feed families in need.
"Jimmy Jazz has been a large supportive of Kips Bay on these last couple years and obviously through the pandemic. Any relief that we can give these parents by giveaways will always be a bonus," says Sinclair Hollingsworth, director of operations at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.
About 150 families were fed with turkeys and trimmings.
