La Casa Grande Cigars, actor Chazz Palminteri launch 'A Bronx Tale' cigars
A local cigar factory is partnering with an Academy Award-nominated actor from the Bronx to launch A Bronx Tale Cigar.
La Casa Grande Cigars and actor Chazz Palminteri launched the cigar Wednesday in Little Italy.
"I dedicate a cigar to my grandfather Cologio. He came to this country with nothing, and he made a life for himself and I thought that we can dedicate this cigar to all the immigrants that came to this country and made a life for themselves, whether it be Italian or Irish, Jewish, African American, Spanish-- people that came to this country and made a better life for their children. This is a cigar for them," said Palminteri.
The launch also coincided with the 30th anniversary of Palminteri's film "A Bronx Tale," which inspired the name of the cigars.
