Lake Mohegan firefighters are mourning after a 24-year veteran with the department suddenly died this week.
Local 2956 firefighters remember Christopher Johanson as a great firefighter, friend and mentor to all.
He leaves behind a wife and three children.
Visitation services are scheduled to take place Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Clinton Funeral Home in Cold Springs.
A fundraiser has also been set up to help with arrangements.
