The Bronx Zoo announced the baby tree kangaroo born in December has emerged from its mother's pouch.

Zoo officials say the baby tree kangaroo, also known as a joey, made their first debut today since being born in December.

According to zoo officials, the birth is pretty rare as it's the second of its species born at the Bronx Zoo and to this mother since 2021.

Animals lovers can check out the joey and its mom at the Jungle World exhibit.
