You can support Long Island restaurants while getting a great dining deal this week. It's the Long Island Restaurant Week!
Here are some of the restaurants offering deals:
Union Sushi and Steak in Southampton offers marinated skirt steak in a sushi roll called the Union Roll that also has lobster and avocado inside. Also on the menu, their famous BAO Bun with barbecue cut pork loin and crispy onions.
Thom Thom Steak and Seafood in Wantagh offer their 6 oz grilled filet mignon on the restaurant week menu. For seafood selections, there's a Kung Pao calamari appetizer and the Thom Thom Seafood Paella entree.
George Martin's Strip Steak in Great River has their classic 8 oz filet and 14 oz prime boneless New York strip. Or you can choose their pan roasted french cut breast of chicken or organic salmon as your main course.
Long Island Restaurant Week runs through Sunday. The three courses costs $25, $35 or $42. Many restaurants also offer a $20 two-course lunch.
