The Longwood community kicked off the summer in style as local officials and groups came together to host a festival for Bronx residents Saturday.
Musical acts such as Tono Rosario and Brenda Starr performed. Mayor Eric Adams and Gov. Kathy Hochul also paid a visit during the event.
Longwood Avenue, blocked off between Southern Boulevard and Beck Street, drew in crowds throughout the day.
Council Member Rafael Salamanca, the Hispanic Federation, and Freddy Perez Entertainment organized the event.
The music, carnival games, and other attractions gave attendees plenty to do in between various food options.
