Several voting machines broke down causing long lines at a polling location in Co-op City, according to volunteers.
It happened at a polling location at 135 Einstein Loop Tuesday morning.
Volunteers say at least five machines stopped working, including scanning machines and machines used by those with mobility issues.
They say the failure at the busy polling location caused at least 200 people to wait in line, but was eventually fixed.
Section 5 spans 19 buildings out of the 35 in Co-op City, and is considered the largest voting-block in New York City.
