A man is out of jail despite police arresting him on attempted murder charges for allegedly knocking a man out outside of Fuego Tipico restaurant in the Bronx.
Van Phu Bui, 55, was arrested Wednesday and charged with attempted murder, but Thursday, the district attorney’s office reduced those charges to assault and harassment.
Since both of those charges are not eligible for bail, the police released Bui Thursday, despite that the victim has been in the hospital with a fractured skill since the incident took place.
